MARZIUS AD-007 Portable Crystal Ball Humidifier: Compact Design with Ambient Lighting

The MARZIUS AD-007 humidifier offers a straightforward approach to adding moisture and visual interest to small spaces. With a 450ml water tank, it’s designed for shorter sessions in areas like desks, bedside tables, or compact rooms. A USB-C port keeps it powered, so you can plug it into laptops, power banks, or wall adapters without hunting for outlets.

Its clear plastic shell houses customizable LED lights that cycle through colors or stay fixed on a single hue. While the lighting adds a soft glow, the power cable connects at the top—something to consider if visible wires bother you. The auto shut-off kicks in when water runs low, which helps prevent damage, though the tank’s size means refilling it daily if used consistently.

Setting it up takes a bit of patience. The two halves twist apart for filling, and a wick inside needs soaking before reassembly. Some users mention the touch controls require a firm press, and the included wooden base stabilizes the orb but doesn’t hide the cord. At 280 grams, it’s light enough to move around, though the spherical shape might roll if knocked off its stand.

You can add essential oils to the water for scent, but reviews note mixed results on fragrance diffusion. The humidifying mist itself is subtle, making it better suited for personal spaces than larger rooms.

For under £20, it’s a budget option prioritizing portability and aesthetics over heavy-duty performance. If you’re after a basic humidifier with mood lighting for a desk or nightstand, this works. Just keep expectations in check for tank capacity and mist output.
